The Yamaha T9.9 High Thrust completely redefines what a small-horsepower outboard can achieve. While sharing the reliable, compact 212cc two-cylinder block of the standard F9.9 portable series, the “T” variant is fundamentally re-engineered to move heavy, unyielding loads. By integrating a specialized, oversized gearcase featuring an aggressive 2.92:1 gear ratio, this motor spins a large-diameter Dual Thrust™ aluminum propeller that significantly minimizes slippage and maximizes low-end pushing muscle.

Designed primarily as a premium trolling kicker for heavy tournament fishing boats, or as primary propulsion for sailboats and pontoons, the T9.9 handles heavy water drag with effortless efficiency. The Dual Thrust propeller system is engineered to redirect exhaust gases completely away from the blades when shifting into reverse, giving the pilot exceptional stopping power and precision control at the docks. With electric starting, electronic ignition, and an integrated high-capacity charging alternator, it delivers reliable, small-footprint utility with commercial-grade stamina.
