At the center of each kit is a premium, elastomeric compound impeller engineered to resist memory setting, dry-start friction, and ozone degradation. Along with the impeller, the kits include a heavy-gauge stainless steel insert cup and wear plate that resist scoring from abrasive sand and silt, high-temp silicone seals, water tube guide bushings, and the exact metal woodruff keys required for zero-slip driveshaft alignment. Regularly replacing these components at factory intervals ensures a tight hydraulic seal, preventing micro-cavitation and maintaining high-volume water flow to the powerhead under extreme, high-RPM thermal loads.
