The Yamaha F200XB (and counter-rotating LF200XB) is built for boaters who want maximum 200-horsepower muscle without the bulk and weight penalty of a heavy V6 block. Built on a refined 2.8-liter inline four-cylinder platform, this engine utilizes a Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) design with 16 valves and Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT). The VCT system optimizes valve timing relative to engine speed, squeezing incredible mid-range acceleration and instant throttle response out of a highly agile footprint. Perfect for single or twin configurations running on standard mechanical cables.
